I do have genuine respect for Seth Godin, and think he’s had some really good insights. But I’ve been reading his blog and notice that every single post gets a ton of love from the social media community, be it in the form of “likes” “Diggs” or “shares.” Far more than is warranted. So I was going to complain about how Godin has just become this brand that everyone thinks is worth following and learning from, but there really isn’t anything that sets him apart from a lot of other writers/bloggers except for his hype.
But then I realized: that’s the point, isn’t it?
