A Meta Post

Holy, I’ve been bad at blogging lately. I don’t know what it says that what is (or, at least, was) derided by many as a fivolous waste of time comes off as too large a task. Either I’m working on larger projects, or I’m using Twitter, Tumblr & Flickr. But I feel like those services should be complements, not supplements for, longer, more polished thoughts that the space afforded by blogging can provide. Plus, I’m reasonably certain my family doesn’t read my Twitter or Tumblr (why would they? It’s mostly Star Wars jokes). So I’ve decided I’m going to give up on some of the time taken by these services and move back to maintaining this blog. To that end, I’ve bought a new Moleskin notebook (subject of a future post) and started sketching out thoughts. I’m excited by some of the stuff I’m working on, and hope somebody out there likes it, too.
In the meantime, I’m going to use my next few posts to examine the usefulness of some of the other services that I’ve been playing with over the past months.
